  Located in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center food court.
  
  Perfect cheesecake dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth.  Very reasonable in price for this hard to find type of cheesecake. Great grab and go place for when you're craving Japanese style cheesecake.

  ONLY place i know of on this island that has CHEESE TARTS  and luckily they are AMAZING!!
  Creamy. Cheesy. Delish crust. You need to try these
  
  Cheesecakes:
  Traditional japanese style. Light. Fluffy. Spongey. NOT decadent or creamy like ny style. So do not compare the 2 types since they are not the same at all.
  
  Theyre located in the food court, so easy to find. Lots of seating areas. They also have refreshing drinks!

  Located in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center in the food court. You can get 2 hour free parking if you spend at the Royal Hawaiian Center.
  
  I come here for their cheesecake. Their cheesecake is so fluffy and light! It's delicious! Definitely taste like a Japanese cheesecake! I love the original flavor. They also have coffee flavor and it's pretty good! You have to get their tiny cheesecake tart thing! That was the best!!! So sad we just got 1. I'll be back for more!
  
  Overall, love uncle testsu!!!

  OMG. I never had one of these before, even though there is a store about 35 minutes from my home. Actually I never even heard of it!  We were literally sitting upstairs in the food court eating and saw the sign. It looked cute, so we walked over. We had NO idea what a Japanese style cheese cake was and were expecting something along the lines of a Cheesecake Factory offering. We knew something was up, as the entire cake was only like $9, which is about the price for one slice at Cheesecake Factory.
  
  So, we bought an original, they packed it in a cool little box, and we sat back down to try it. As we opened the box, the warmth came out along with that smell. Mmmmmmmm.... In went our forks and we didn't stop eating. This unexpected taste, texture, and flavor just did it for us. Amazing!  Too bad we didn't come here until the last few days of our trip!
  
  Definitely go here. I'm sure you are gonna love it. Eat it right away while it's warm!

  Tetsushi Mizokami founded the original Uncle Tetsu in Hakata, Japan. These cheesecakes have the richness of American cheesecakes with the lightness of a French soufflé. It's incredibly airy and not too sweet. The cashier was friendly and quick. She offered us free samples.
  
  In addition to cheesecakes, they also offer cookies, cheese tarts, drinks, and mochi donuts. I got one bite of the cheesecake and then our little one devoured the rest of the slice. We both can say it was delicious! Their cheese tarts are very good too. Quality ingredients are used and you can taste it. I love that these desserts are incredibly flavorful and on the lighter side.
  
  If you're in the area and looking for some dessert, definitely give Uncle Tetsu's a try.
